Annual Conference Planning Committees This work would assist with the planning of the ARPA Annual Conference & Energize Workshop historically taking place in October. Roles would include overall organizing oversight, education program planning, social and guest experience and facility planning support. There will be several sub-committees that will undertake the planning work over the year leading up to the event.

The Committee will lead the planning of celebrations, events, alumni connections, history collection and storytelling.
Awards and Scholarships Committee This Committee looks after the adjudication of ARPA's own awards and scholarships and helps to market and secure applications for all of the awards within our sector. This Committee also helps to host the annual awards events as well as oversees the volunteer recognition program.
Professional Development & Education Committee ARPA's Education Committee is poised to have a busy year as it looks to further develop ARPA's professional development offerings as well as looks to undertake a refresh of the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association's (CPRA) Professional Development Certificate program.
Parks & Open Space Network This group typically meets quarterly to discuss topics of shared interest in municipal parks. This group is more of a network that includes roundtable sharing but does from time to time take on projects and provide counsel to the ARPA Board of Directors.
